Season-long sports documentary series sold to streaming platform in 8 weeks

A Championship football club wanted an all-access documentary series capturing their promotion push — but had been burned by a previous production partner who delivered low-quality footage and missed deadlines. They needed a team they could trust inside the dressing room.

M3CA embedded a three-person production unit within the club for the full second half of the season: training ground, matchday tunnel, dressing room, and post-match. M3CA's directors built genuine trust with players and management over the first two weeks before cameras were introduced — resulting in candid, emotionally raw footage that felt earned rather than staged. Eight episodes were cut simultaneously through the season, with a final episode completed within 72 hours of the last match. M3CA pitched the finished series to four streaming platforms.
